In a bizarre collaboration that challenges conventional predictions, the game developer has unveiled an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering free extra story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Questline Uncovered

According to the official announcement, "A strange meeting pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where rumors of forbidden rituals and terrifying changes resonate through the shadows." The storyline features a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who charges the duo with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a clandestine sect.

The mission focuses on "strange trials and a fearsome adversary" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Settings and Metamorphoses

The preview showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview finishes with a striking scene showing a character, presumably the captive, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Items and Additional Content

Players who successfully complete the mission will acquire an exclusive katana together with numerous objects concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:

• Mikasa costume for Naoe
